I want, I want
I think this portable doll house is super cute and quite possibly the perfect "it's a cheap Christmas, let's appreciate the many things we have" gift for little girls. I want to make one for each of the girls, but I'm thinking there's not time. She says it's easy, but it looks a bit time-consuming, don't you think??

I wasn't lying, I swear. It takes me about 2 evenings (after the kids have gone to bed) and I'm a slow seamstress (I'm scared of the sewing machine). One evening to do the applique stuff and cut out the plastic and wrap it etc. and one evening to sew the house together.
Thanks for the reply! This would be the perfect gift for a birthday party we're going to tomorrow so I have the pieces cut out and will try to start assembly during nap time ;-)
