Oh wait, that last one was right. SEE?! It's hard! And that's not even factoring in the mental gymnastics I go through to get seams lined up and make sure I sew the correct side of the squares and to have all the corners actually meet when it's sewn together. I've got 9 pinwheels done, another 10 halfway done and only 71 more to go. I spend more time than I should on these being sure that everything is right. Unfortunately, as I learned from my 8th grade British Lit teacher (the ever wonderful Mrs. Brown) and the Robert Burns poem, To A Mouse (which I still have mostly memorized), "The best-laid schemes o' mice an' men/Gang aft agley,/An' lea'e us nought but grief an' pain". Because sometimes, you use every last brain cell (I assure you, I have plenty) and that is STILL not enough:

OMG I laughed till I cried. I am right there with ya. I HATE Pin wheels for sure. I am not the best when it comes to speed piecing I can sew 2 colors together but I just have to do it one at the time. I did find out one way and that is if you have a strong color always keep it on either the inside or the outside of your presser foot that way you don't get mixed up you always know where that color should be. I just put my grandmothers flower garden on my bed today. I can't stand it anymore I just gotta have flowers. ENOUGH of winter already I need spring! I should find the one that I have 1/2 pieced and give it to you guys to finish piecing at least it is the bigger size of garden than this one is.

That's the one that's a bunch of hexagons, right? I've never even looked into how to do those and can't visualize it on my own...

Not at all, I'm very glad to have them!! I'm definitely gonna have to bring you the finished products to look at in person----there is A LOT from you in the scrap happy quilt.
